Are you looking for Part-time work for a great cause? Come join our Community Threads Thrift Store.
We are looking to hire a Part-time Cashier, approximately 19 – 23 hours per week;
Shifts:
-Tuesday 10-2 / 2-6:15
-Thursday 2-6:15
-Friday 10-2
-Saturday 10-2 / 2-5
If you’re friendly, extremely reliable, and customer service-oriented, this position could be for you! Previous cashier and/or customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Cashier:
-Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the cash register.
-Operate cash register accurately, handling transactions with efficiency and attention to detail.
-Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
-Adhere to cash handling procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
Qualifications of the Cashier:
-Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing excellent service at all times
-Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions accurately
– Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
– Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
