Home of the Sparrow has been honored as Nonprofit of the Year at the Commitment to McHenry County Awards Ceremony on September 24th. Thank you to each and every one of our employees, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone out in the community who helps make a difference in the lives of the homeless women and children we serve each day.
Congratulations to the other honorees: Centegra, Sage Products, Exemplar Financial Network, Steffan’s Jewelers, In-Sync Systems, Marvin’s Toy Store, and Gavers Community Cancer Foundation as well as Michael Eesly (CEO of Centegra) receiving the Individual-Compass Award for his efforts with the broader business community in the county.
