Home of the Sparrow invites you to our Celebration of Women Luncheon on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills from 11:00am-2:00pm.

Invite your mom, sisters, daughters and friends to join us for an afternoon of inspiration, laughter, and hope as we celebrate each other. Enjoy a delicious plated lunch, networking opportunities and an exciting silent auction! Mobile bidding for our Silent Auction begins Friday, April 26th, and is open to the public! Everyone is welcome to bid!

Our Celebration of Women speakers are mother and daughter, Bonnie Bjerning and Catherine Komaromy, long-time Home of the Sparrow volunteers who have overcome much, and are paying it forward by helping others.

Be inspired as our testimonial guest speaker shares her story of courage and hope, and how Home of the Sparrow has changed her life forever.

Enjoy entertainment by Pianist, Dave Childress, along with national recording artist, Maureen Christine and her sister, Cecilia Adams.

All proceeds from this event support our Transitional Shelter, Affordable Housing, educational programs and supportive services to hundreds of homeless women and children in McHenry County and Northern Illinois each year. Last year, we provided services to over 450 individuals.

Our mission is to provide Hope, Opportunity and Support that empowers women and children as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
