Home of the Sparrow does not provide emergency shelter. Please contact your local PADS for Emergency Shelter.

Home of the Sparrow provides a Short-Term Transitional Shelter, Affordable Housing, and Rapid Rehousing combined with Supportive Services. There are a few ways to contact Home of the Sparrow to talk about your situation and how we can be of assistance. You can call our Intake Coordinator, at 815-271-5444, ext.400, e-mail at intake@hosparrow.org, or complete the online form below to receive a call or e-mail back. Home of the Sparrow staff will review the programs that are offered, ask questions to better understand your circumstances, and how Home of the Sparrow can assist, and provide referral information if needed. Due to high call volume, please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

Home of the Sparrow walk-in hours are Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. If possible, please call ahead to make an appointment to ensure that someone will be available to assist you.
