This #ThankfulThursday we would like to thank United Way of Greater McHenry County and The Community Foundation for McHenry County for supporting Home of the Sparrow through their Community COVID-19 Response Grant!

The pandemic has greatly impacted Home of the Sparrow and we are doing everything possible to sustain our daily operations and provide needed services to our community. We are grateful to have been granted $56,000 to help support our programs and services during these very challenging times. This grant will help Home of the Sparrow keep our shelter open, as well as help to support our housing programs so that the women and children we serve are able to continue receiving supportive services and housing. Thank you for this gift of hope!
