[Woodstock, IL] — Home of the Sparrow is thrilled to announce a new partnership with professional basketball player Jeremiah Wilson and The Grind Sports Foundation for Spark Hope 2025 — a virtual walk, run, and bike-a-thon fundraiser supporting women, children, and individuals experiencing homelessness across Northern Illinois.
This dynamic collaboration brings together two mission-driven organizations. The Grind Sports Foundation, founded by Wilson, empowers underserved youth through sports, mentorship, and education. Home of the Sparrow provides affordable housing programs, transitional shelter, rental assistance, and outreach services to women, children, and individuals experiencing homelessness in Northern Illinois.
“Partnering with Jeremiah and The Grind Sports Foundation is a perfect fit for Spark Hope,” said Holly Dorn, Director of Development at Home of the Sparrow. “Jeremiah’s passion for community and impact aligns perfectly with our mission.”
Spark Hope 2025 invites individuals, families, and teams to walk, run, or bike throughout June, logging miles and raising funds to support Home of the Sparrow’s life-changing programs. The Grind Sports Foundation will lead the charge, encouraging youth and families to get active and make a difference.
