Job Title: Internet Commerce Specialist
Status: Part Time, Non Exempt
Hours: T, TH, Sa – flexible between 9:00a – 6:00p. 10-15 hours/ week (Choose your own hours)
Purpose: Under the supervision of the Director of Retail and the eBay Coordinator, the Internet Commerce Specialist will be responsible for the complete process of internet
sales from obtaining worthy sellable items to processing all items using authorized Internet listing platforms such as eBay, The RealReal or other online selling platforms.

Key Responsibilities of the Internet Commerce Specialist:
– Obtain and manage inventory, flow of merchandise and a timely customer response process on the I-Commerce sites.
– Research, photograph, list, pack, ship, and provide buyer feedback for all sold items.
– Input sales information onto created Excel spreadsheets of all sold I-Commerce items.
– Utilize all tools available (computer, smart phone, digital camera, scales, etc.) to maximize the efficiency of the listing process.
– Stay attuned to current market trends in items that are highly sought after.
– Manage and perform the pickup process of I-Commerce items from other Nest stores. Time spent traveling from the Mundelein store to and from other Nest Store locations will be compensated and mileage will be reimbursed for personal car usage.
– Timely and accurate submission of I-Commerce listings.
– Work with Nest stores management team to maintain inventory, full accountability and worthiness of items selected for I-Commerce listing.
– Maintain a climate and environment of “safety – first” to prevent injury and accidents.
– Provide excellent service and demonstrate professional conduct at all times as a representative of Home of the Sparrow.
– Attend meetings as assigned.
– Complete any other duties as assigned by the Director of Retail or the eBay Coordinator.
Qualifications:
– High School education or higher required.
– Baseline computer skills to access, input and process electronic information.
– Some knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets.
– Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
– Ability to communicate appropriately with management, store associates and customers.
– Ability to create and utilize forms and documents to enhance efficiency of the process.
– Ability to freely access all areas of the stores and shelters including selling floor, stock area, and register area
– Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
– Hold a valid Illinois Driver’s License without moving violations for the past 24 months and no history of DUI or reckless driving.
– Adequate means of transportation and current auto Insurance.
Supervisory Responsibility: At times there would be direction given to other Staff members to ensure proper and on time packaging and shipping.
Physical Demands:
– Ability to lift up to 25lbs
– Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and reaching are required.
– Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time are required.
