The McHenry County Crisis Center Program operates a 24 hour hotline – 800-892-8900- to provide
emergency mental health services to McHenry County residents. The services include crisis
intervention, problem solving and support, referrals and linkages to community resources and more.
Callers can also be referred for a face-to-face assessment.
Their website, www.mchenry-crisis.org, provides information on community resources to help meet a
variety of needs, information about suicide and links for information on mental health and substance
abuse topics relevant to all ages. If you or someone you know needs assistance with mental health or
