The 12 Annual People in Need Forum will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 8:00 am to 12:30
pm at the Leucht Conference Center at McHenry College at 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake. Nearly 60
local social service providers will be available to share information about their services in areas that
include food stamps, Medicaid and health care for the uninsured, mental health services, housing and
energy assistance, money management, senior and elder care needs, homelessness, transportation and

volunteers from human service, civic and faith-based organizations, schools, law enforcement, health
care providers and caregivers and members of the general public who may be interested in connecting
with resources for themselves, families or friends. There will be workshops focusing on topics related to
health care, behavioral health and substance abuse, services for Veterans, transportation and housing.
The Forum is free, but registration is requested, especially to reserve your copy of the Directory. For
more information and to register, go to www.mchenry.edu/peopleinneed. On the website, you will also
