“Home of the Sparrow, a McHenry County nonprofit, has been named the recipient of a $50,000 grant through the annual Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards^® program. This grant will help further HOS’ efforts in the community as we continue to reduce the prevalence of homelessness among women, children, families, and individuals in Northern Illinois.  This substantial contribution will primarily support HOS’s Transitional Shelter, community-based housing programs, and wraparound support services.  The funds will enhance the shelter’s capacity to provide a safe and supportive environment, as well as bolster the community-based housing programs, such as Rapid Rehousing and the Affordable Housing Program, which play a vital role in offering stable housing solutions. ”
