Home of the Sparrow’s Headquarters is Relocating to Woodstock Effective 10/1/2023. Woodstock, IL Home of the Sparrow is excited to announce we will be relocating from 4209 W Shamrock Lane in McHenry to 1991 Duncan Place in Woodstock, IL. Our administrative offices will be closed on Friday, 9/22/2023 in preparation for the move and will re-open on Monday, 10/1/2023 at our new location. The main office phone, (815)-271-5444, and fax, (815)-271-5406, numbers will remain the same and will be open during the move. Our programs and services will remain open during this time to best serve our clients.

The new location will better serve homeless women, children, individuals and families in our community. Client intake, group programming and various classes will be held onsite as well drop offs from our shelter wish list, holiday giving program and cash donations. We are grateful for this opportunity which was made possible by the generosity of some of our special donors.

Home of the Sparrow currently operates a Transitional Shelter, 25 Affordable Housing Units, 5 Subsidized Apartment Units, a Supported Employment Program, six Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Stores: McHenry, Woodstock, Cary, Palatine, Mundelein and Third Lake, and one Community Threads Thrift Store: Arlington Heights.
