Cashier Needed!
Are you looking for Part-time work for a great cause? Come join our Community Threads Thrift Store.
We are looking to hire a Part-time Cashier, approximately 23-25 hours per week;
Mon, Wed, Fri: 1:30-6:00 and Tues: 10:00-1:30 or 1:30-6:00 (every other week), and Saturdays: 10:00-5:00
Store Hours:
M-F 10-6| Sat. 10-5 (Closed on Sundays)
If you’re friendly, extremely reliable, and customer service oriented, this position could be for you! Previous cashier and/or customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Cashier:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the cash register.
- Operate cash register accurately, handling transactions with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing excellent service at all times
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
