This race is a Fun Run

This race will not be timed. It’s called a Fun Run. We will be giving awards out to the top three winners in each age group. Many individuals will time themselves to get ready for another race.

Race Course Conditions

The course has a variety of different surfaces you will be running or walking on. There is blacktop pavement, gravel and concrete sidewalk.

Express Packet Pick Up

All participants are encouraged to pick up your pack on Thursday, October 3rd or Friday October 4th from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. This will make the registration process much easier for you!

Day of the Race

The City of Crystal Lake charges a $5.00 parking fee, this fee does not go back to Home of the Sparrow. If you would like to avoid the fee we have made arrangements where you can park in the parking lot behind the old Walmart off of Rte 14. When you pull into Three Oaks we will have a sign pointing to the free parking.

It’s going to Rain what do you do?

We will notify you by email the morning of the race if the event will be cancelled due to inclement extreme weather conditions like: Thunder, Lightning, Hail.. etc.. otherwise the event will go on.

Due to expenses already incurred we will be unable to give refunds. We thank you for supporting our Homeless Women and Children!
