Cashier, Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store – Woodstock, IL
Pay: $15.00/hr.
About Us: Home of the Sparrow supports homeless women and children through shelter, resources, and hope. Our thrift stores help fund these programs while serving the community.
Position Summary: Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store in Woodstock is seeking a friendly and reliable permanent part-time Cashier to join our team.
Hours (20 per week): Monday & Wednesday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist customers
– Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
– Price merchandise and assist with merchandising
– Maintain sales floor organization and cleanliness
Qualifications:
– Strong customer service skills
– Dependable and detail-oriented
– Retail or cashier experience preferred
