We are currently in need of volunteers for our Book Buddy program at our shelter in McHenry.  This program partners volunteers up one on one with a child in our program.  You will spend time sharing books, playing educational games, and building motor skills.  This time provides an opportunity to build reading, writing, and social skills as well as provides the opportunity for a positive, mentoring relationship.  The Book Buddy program runs on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
