In light of the pandemic, the 2021 event has been canceled. This decision doesn’t come easy as this longstanding event has provided affordable formalwear while also supporting Home of The Sparrow, Inc. and in the past Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.

Dresses can still be affordably shopped at these locations. Any dresses purchased through our 7 thrift stores will support the mission of Home of the Sparrow, which is to Provide Hope, Opportunity and Support that empowers women and children as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Thank you for your support throughout the years by donating dresses as well as shopping at the sale. While this is different, we appreciate everyone who will donate directly to our thrift stores. As the year progresses, we will update everyone on a 2022 event.
